Love Forever..

Love has no special day...each and every moment can be celebrated with love at any time of the year...the thought and feeling of love forever inspired me to create this wall clock ' Love Forever...'

I have used the beautiful MDF base of the clock from none other than the sweetest and best designer Rakhi Mittal's https://www.theelementcraftstudio.com/. Other products used are chalk paints, Instant Image Transfer Gel , Crackle medium, Napkins and Decoupage Glue, Stamps and Stencils from https://www.itsybitsy.in/

A brief process of creating this project....
First prime the base with white gesso. Apply ImageTransfer Gel on the desired place and glue down the image print. After couple of hours when it dries up,apply some water with a soaked sponge and gently peel off the paper with your finger tips. The transferred image starts showing. Cover it with a layer of decoupage glue and seal it. Now apply the chalk colors giving shaded, crackled, distressed and shabby look.Glue down some rose napkin pieces randomly and merge those with matching shades. Do some text and leaf stamping and stencilling with inks and paints. In the centre piece I have used the napkin and stencilled the word Love. After it dries completely use Decoupage glue or any other varnish to seal it. Assemble the two pieces, adhere them and fix the clock hands. The time is now :)

Do scroll down to see more closeup and detailed pics of the project. Hope u like it. Thanks for stopping by !

I want to add this project of mine to the beautiful challenge in honor of St. Patrick's Day ...
