It looked like this when I started to plan my layout after watercoloring and texturing my paper with stencils.....the photograph I used is from Pion Designs.

It all started with a random surfing on the net...when I came across SATW September Moodboard Challenge...and the theme inspired me so much that I just started to think n conceptualize about it...I have two little angels 2 n 5 yrs....they kept fiddling on n around my crafty table...it was pretty late in the nite when they went off to sleep...I thought that's the time when I should be awake and do my work...shooing away my sleep with coffee n tea breaks with my sweet n cute niece who gave me company right till the dawn :)  I wish I had taken step by step pics while working on this layout.....thankfully I have one pic which i took while starting.........when I was just figuring out my layout :)

 

 

Since this is my first post...I maybe missing out on lot of things which I should be doing as a blogger...so please excuse me this time...My next project will surely have step by step pics of the making.... :)

 By the time I was done..i realized the flowers I used were pretty but too bright for the theme...so again I went over n redid it...as u can see in the pic above...the red bright handrolled roses :)

I have tried to create a vintage poetic atmosphere in terms of soft colors....the wooden background created with stamps n inks...a window, cage , nib and  a book by using dies ,stamps,stencils,pastes ... a twine, roses,texts, postcard stamps...distressing....Hope I have done justice to the theme with  love :)

 I am so excited n happy to participate in this wonderful n prestigious challenge......this is the beginning...the journey will go on :)
